Speciality Courses

During the Deep Speciality you’ll learn how to safely plan your dives, manage your gas supply and how to identify and manage narcosis. You’ll learn about buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth. With this speciality you’ll be able to go to the depth of 40m and you’ll have access to the most beautiful shipwrecks on Gozo and Malta.

The wreck course is your opportunity to complete your training on some of the best wreck dive sites in the Mediterranean Sea. The course covers aspects such as practical knowledge, hazards to avoid, how to research wrecks, wreck diving equipment, how to safely penetrate a wreck and how to interact responsibly with the aquatic life you’ll see.

DPVs, also called underwater scooters, allow you to see more, conserve air and get from one place to another faster – with a huge smile on your face.
Learn how to avoid problems like ascending/descending too fast, losing track of your buddy and running out of battery power.

While diving with Enriched Air (Nitrox) you’ll have a longer bottom time on your recreational dives and it will allow you to spend more time underwater, especially on multiple dive days. You’ll learn how to use an oxygen air analyser to analyse your breathing gas and how to set up your dive computer. After completion of the course, you’ll be allowed to dive with a mix up to a maximum of 40% of Oxygen.
The course does not include diving.

The thought of dipping below the surface at night seems mysterious, yet so alluring. Although you’ve been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. The scene changes as day creatures retire and nocturnal organisms emerge. If you’ve wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, this is the right course for you!
